Drake Is To Star In Movie "Arbitrage"

Canadian hip hop star Drake is in negotiations to join the financial thriller "Arbitrage,".

Nicholas Jarecki ("The Outsider") is writing and directing the indie film, which follows a hedge fund magnate who is in over his head and desperate to complete the sale of his shady trading empire to a major bank before his fraud is revealed.

However, an unexpected, bloody error forces him to turn to the most unlikely corner for help in protecting him from rivals who want to bring him down.

Susan Sarandon and Eva Green ("Casino Royale") are set to play the character's wife and art dealer mistress, respectively.

Johnny Lin is producing and financing the picture through his company Filmula. Bob Salerno ("A Single Man") Laura Bickford ("Traffic") and Kevin Turen will also produce, while Brian Young will exec produce.

Production is scheduled for this March in New York.

Unlike other popular musicians who make the leap to the big screen, Drake has acting experience, having co-starred on "Degrassi: The Next Generation."

Should the deal close, "Arbitrage" will mark Drake's second appearance on the big screen. He previously had a small role in "Charlie Bartlett."

The 24-year-old artist's first studio album, "Thank Me Later," debuted at the top of the Billboard 2000 in June 2010 and has since gone platinum. He has another album due later this year.

Drake is represented by ICM.

Her Diary....

See all i ever wanna do is be relevant,

Just tell me that i ever meant anything,

Or that you could ever see me and you in another light,

But its like the dark women indoors in the darkest nights by the wrong man,

And see mostly all of them have made you incapable of a first impression,

what i do is i channel my aggression with no cable or antenna,

Just intentions to impress you, if capable,

Hoping that the material possesions can materialise to a better you,

Cars, nothing i drive can drive you out of this frame of mind,

with such an ugly picture in it and,

Money, nothing i buy can buy me more time for your ears to tell your heart to listen to it,

Diamonds, a girls best friend is what they say, but believe me with the right allegience shorty you gon shine anyways,

and everyday that goes by is a couple more lines in her diary,

the day before is better than the present,

so anyone presented in her presence endures these life sentences,

no key for release,

no reason to be around,

her minds in the clouds,

she writes it all down,

in her diary

Raven-Symone's New Body

Via PopEater

Raven-Symone flaunted her slimmer figure at Wednesday's People's Choice Awards. Wearing a cleavage-baring outfit, the actress admits she's still insecure.

"Actually, now I wear bigger clothes because I don't like the way people stare at me," she tells PEOPLE.

"I liked it before. Now, you're just looking at me for the wrong reasons. Before, you were actually looking at me for a real reason."

The 'That's So Raven' actress faced much criticism for her weight, but she has never understood why.

"I thought I looked fabulous before and nobody else did," she says. "So, whatever."

The former 'Cosby Show' star adds that the stress she endured during her Disney Channel show was the reason she packed on the pounds.

"That's what stress does to you," Symone says. "I've been not stressing. I've been in my own house, decorating and finding hobbies."

50 Cent's Sleek® Headphones Challenge Beats by Dr. Dre

50 Cent's ever expanding business empire now includes a line of headphones. The Queens rapper teamed up with Sleek Audio to debut his new, Sleek by 50 Cent Platinum headphones at the Consumer Electronics Shows (CES) in Las Vegas on Thursday (Dec. 6).

Sleek by 50 Cent will be the first headphones to offer 'wireless hybrid' technology along with durable, military-grade metals. The headphones, which will cost approximately $350 a pop, are equipped with Kleer lossless wireless technology, allowing users to listen to tunes within a 60ft range of musical devices. A rechargeable micro-USB battery and detachable mic also come standard.

"I know music and I've tried everything on the market as far as headphones go, but I wanted something different, something better that really pushed the envelope and gave all music fans a new way to listen to their favorite artists," 50 explained at CES. "I was fortunate to find Sleek. The technology they employ and their knowledge of how we hear music truly blew me away. It was a perfect match. I didn't want to create another pair of loud headphones. I wanted to create headphones that offer top-level performance, style, and new technology."

There has been no official release date for the new, Sleek by 50 Cent Platinum headphones.

Chris Brown's #TwitterBeef results in Media Success!

A lot of bad has come out of Chris Brown‘s Twitter feud with former B2K singer Raz B last week. The R&B star has been called a homophobe for remarks he made — then apologized for — during the back and forth exchange with the attention-starved Raz-B, adding more unneeded criticism in the media Breezy has to face down. But there is some good news.

Billboard released this week’s Social 50 chart, its new chart which tracks the most active artists on several social media platforms, like Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, and thanks to the feud, Brown is on the rise.

Billboard.biz reports "Chris is up from No. 33 to No. 21, with a whopping 375% gain in Twitter followers over last week’s total".

Over on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, Brown continues to do well. His new single, “Yeah 3X,” stays at No. 19 for a second week in a row.

T.I. and Tiny get 'Too Frisky'

T.I. just gave a whole new meaning to his single "Bring Em Out."

The incarcerated rapper was busted for getting busy with his wife, Tamkea (Tiny) Cottle, in a jail visitation room over the weekend, TMZ reported.

Guards at the Forrest City Federal Correctional Complex in Arkansas caught the duo getting too "frisky."

While inmates are allowed to kiss and hug at the beginning and end of visits -- and even hold hands -- the "inmate’s hands must remain in plain view of visiting room staff at all times."

Tiny told the gossip website that T.I was immediately reprimanded and sent to a "special housing unit," which has tighter security.

The 30-year-old rapper is currently serving an 11-month prison term for a probation violation after being arrested for illegal possession of Ecstasy while he was with Tiny.

Tiny said she hasn’t spoken to her husband since the incident but hopes to see him again soon.
